Terms of Service
Effective date: November 1, 2026
Please read these terms before using Ideas4Business. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
1. Using Ideas4Business
These Terms of Service govern your use of ideas4business.com, including its business idea library, assessments, matching tools, saved plans and related features. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. You must be legally able to enter this agreement; if you use the service for an organization, you must have authority to act for it.
2. Information and business decisions
Our content, assessments, estimates and suggested plans are educational starting points. They are not legal, tax, investment or other professional advice. Match scores are exploratory suggestions, not psychological diagnoses or predictions of business success. Costs, demand, competition, revenue and profit estimates can be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate. We do not promise earnings, customers, funding or successful outcomes. Independently check assumptions, local requirements and sources, and obtain qualified advice where needed before committing money or time.
3. Accounts and security
Provide accurate account information, keep access to your email and connected sign-in accounts secure, and do not share access in ways that compromise other users. You are responsible for activity you authorize on your account. Report suspected unauthorized access using the feedback control on the site. You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Your content
You retain your rights in information you submit, including assessment answers, resumes and feedback. You give us permission to process that information as needed to provide, maintain and improve the features you use, consistent with our Privacy Policy. Only submit material you have permission to use. Do not include other people's confidential information without authorization. Feedback may be used to improve the service without an obligation to pay compensation.
5. Permitted use
You may use the site and its guides to research and plan your own business activities. You may not use the service unlawfully, impersonate others, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, submit malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the service, or bypass access controls. Do not copy or redistribute substantial portions of our library as a competing service without permission.
6. Site content and third parties
The site's software, branding and original content belong to Ideas4Business or their respective rights holders. These terms give you permission to use the service, not ownership of it. Links, sign-in providers and other third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices. A link or listing does not guarantee a third party's quality, availability or suitability.
7. Beta features, pricing and payments
The service currently offers free beta access. Features labeled planned, coming soon or pricing previews are not promises of availability. Signing in or joining a waitlist does not create a paid subscription. If we introduce paid services, we will present the applicable price, billing frequency, renewal, cancellation and refund terms before you purchase; a charge requires your agreement to the purchase. Any mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.
8. Availability and limitations
We work to provide a useful service, but beta features may change, contain errors or be interrupted. Keep your own copies of important plans and information. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or suitability for your particular business. We are not responsible for business decisions you make based on the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including protections against fraud and other mandatory consumer protections.
9. Suspension and ending use
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security threats, violations of these terms or legal requirements. Where practical and appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow you to contact us about a mistake. You can stop using the service whenever you choose. Treatment of retained or deleted personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes and questions
We may update these terms as the service develops. We will publish the revised terms and effective date here and provide additional notice of material changes where appropriate or required. Changes apply prospectively, subject to applicable law. To ask a question about these terms or raise a concern, use the site's Give beta feedback control, identify your message as a Terms question, and include an email address if you want a reply.
